About Darcy
Darcy is a registered Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with clients across the lifespan. Darcy enjoys working with clients to discover what is most meaningful to them and support them to live a life according to their values.
Through a gentle and compassionate approach, Darcy works with an individual to better understand their life experiences, their relationship with themselves and others, and how these can contribute to their distress and feelings of stuckness. Through forming a greater understanding of themselves and their relational patterns, Darcy supports clients to make tangible changes to improve their quality of life. Darcy prioritises creating a safe and consistent therapeutic environment for his clients through culturally safe and trauma informed practice.
Darcy has experience working within community mental health settings and inpatient wards. He has worked with adults, adolescents, and children, and has experience facilitating group therapy programs focusing on sleep hygiene, workplace wellbeing, social anxiety, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Darcy has experience using a range of therapeutic styles including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and relational formulation.
